This two-part virtual workshop will introduce participants to EarSketch, a free online digital audio workstation (DAW) for producing music through code. Join Digital Learning Coach Alva Laster and Music Teacher Lee Burgess, both from the Springfield Public Schools, to explore how this technology can be used in your classroom.
By the end of the two sessions, participants will be able to:
  • Use Earsketch to create music.
  • Structure opportunities for students to collaborate, express themselves as musicians, and learn to code.
  • Create an action plan for using EarSketch with students.
